A Unique History

This home was constructed by hand by a young carpenter, Ben, for his new bride, Sara, in 1939 - 1940.  Built without a blue print, it was inspired by a photo they saw in the Harrisburg Patriot.   Ben passed away in 1947.  His widow lived here until she sold to the present owner in 1984. The original roof lasted 63 years and the original untouched brickwork looks like it was repointed yesterday.  This is truly a one of a kind, solidly built house.  It is in excellent condition and must be seen to be appreciated!
